In-Person Class

What's Included?

• We start the day with a 20-min. demo to get you inspired! Then after you and a small group start painting the view. I'll walk around to give tips, pointers, and I'll be painting alongside.

• The personal guidance is the most powerful ingredient as this is an in-person class. Direct help, direct & kind feedback for your process.

• Beginner & Advanced painters are welcome in this outdoor painting class. You'll gain confidence & practical solutions in painting Cows & the Landscape. You'll bring home great results to be proud of.

• You can paint in oils or in acrylics
I demonstrate in oils. A recommended materials-list is included.

• I'll teach in English & in Dutch

• What you'll learn:

■ How to Start a Landscape Painting with Cows
(The daily 20-min. demonstrations get you going, and goes into problem solving tips)

■ How to Simplify all information of a Landscape

■ How to handle Details, using Significant Details

■ How to Choose Colors, there are Color Lists and Mixing Demonstrations

■ Working with Underpainting, Light & Dark Design shown

■ How to Paint Moving Cows

■ How to Color a Cow, How to Color Grass, in Shade, in Light

■ How to use the Knife & Brush in this, how to keep the 'Looseness' in and how to get a Harmonious end-result

After having joined this class you'll have many questions answered, you'll have your results to bring home and you can confidently continue on this cows & landscape painting path!

Painting Cows Class 2024🐄 SEPT 14 - 15 - 16

Saturday, Sunday, Monday
We'll paint from 10 AM to 2 PM

■ LOCATION: Holland / Alphen a/d Rijn. We'll meet in the morning at a car park and bus stop location. From there we have many different great spots nearby where we can paint.

■ MATERIALS: Bring your outdoor painting gear, an outdoor easel, canvas, paints, brushes, palette knife, and palette. I'll have a list for you what I usually bring in detail. 

■ SAVE YOUR SPOT Max. 4-5 artists per class

Route Info (& Hotel Info)

• After joining this course you'll receive the location where we'll meet and how to get there by car or by public transport (bus/taxi), it's 7 minutes away from Alphen a/d Rijn. Hotel info will be made available for you if you are coming from the UK, EU or US so you can plan your trip.
(The cost for this class does not include hotel arrangements, etc.)

• Na deelname ontvang je de lokatie waar we alle 3 dagen samenkomen in de ochtend. Ik neem aan dat de Nederlandse kunstenaars met de auto of bus komen en dat jullie geen gebruik maken van een hotel, maar dat zou natuurlijk altijd kunnen.
