The August-Florida-Class was so GOOD that I had to do it again!
I'm hosting a 3-Day and a 2-Day Masterclass on the beach of St. Pete, near Tampa, Dates:
Group 1- FEBRUARY 16, 17, 18 (2026) - 19.5 hours
Group 2- FEBRUARY 20,21 (2026) - 13 hours
Both contain morning sessions: beach, water, sand, clouds, figures, light
from 8:00-11:30 AM
And afternoon sessions: beach, parasols, palmtrees, shoreline, figures and the sunset (06:22)
from 3:30-6:30 PM
EASY ACCESS
We'll be painting at a relative cosy beach, pretty too, there's no hiking involved: park your car and walk up the beach. Easy access, easy when bringing your gear. Because we've been here in August, we know this IS a perfect location.
BEST VIEWS
This time of year, February, the temperatures are moderate. It's a popular month there! (Don't wait too long in booking a place to stay!)
We'll have the pretty green clear water in front, we can view palms on the beach, and a distant restaurant. There will be parasols to paint, a nice quiet morning beach, more figures to paint in the afternoon, and a pretty sunset above the water to complete the day!
ST. PETE
There are lots of places where you can stay in St. Pete. When you fly in, it's an easy drive, 35 minutes from Tampa airport. I think we did find the best ingredients here! Find a stay in Pass-a-Grille or St. Pete via Trivago(.com) for example.
St. Pete is a great place with friendly people. The pass-byers on the beach are so polite. Wow! Pass-a-Grille beach is known for being a family-oriented beach. There are great places to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and many stays include a kitchen so you can also cook your own food.
PAINT A LOT!
We'll be painting so much! And we'll have great results!
If you need to produce many paintings for an exhibit, or other, this is a great opportunity. You can sell your results from this class (of course), because they're yours.
The artists who have joined in August will also look back upon the work: if you created a lot, or you are liking your results, and/or you've sold or exhibited your results you know it was worth the cost, travel, and effort!
And besides this, it's a REAL holiday as well. A very painterly one!
Imagine WINTER, February here, snowing(?), raining...And we're leaving to paint in the SUN! That will be so welcome and so special.

I'll be painting in oils, and I recommend this for outdoor painting.
You can paint in the materials you are used to, and/or bring oils.
Included in this price: 19.5 Hours (Group 1) 13 Hours (Group 2) of Guided Painting Practice per class. 6x/4x Live Demonstrations. Online Preparation, Videos, Emails. Not included in this price: Materials, easel, travel and your accommodation. After you've joined you get an email with the exact painting location so you can find many accommodations nearby. FOR BEGINNER & ADVANCED OUTDOOR PAINTERS
This 'paint-out' and 'class' is suited for both beginners as advanced painters. Just like my classes in the Netherlands, I'll start each class with a 20-minute demo, and you'll start painting. I adjust my sharing/teaching to what you need. I'll share tips and show ways as I go round in the group, I will also paint alongside.
You can join as a total novice to outdoor painting. It's a good reason to start this!
Mid-way into our session-time we'll see what we've all been painting, as we walk by the works, you can pick up more suggestions, and ideas from one-another.
